Can You Digg It?
Internet No Comments »OK then, as promised here a few days ago, the new embryonic Buzzsonic News page and headline scraper has moved to Buzzsonic.net where we’ve set up a Digg-like script so users can also submit relevant news items. Take a look at the content covered on this site and it will give you some idea of the subject matter covered. We are by no means trying to compete with similar sites such as Digg (how could we?) or Tailrank and the like, but we’d like to think that we digg (no pun..etc…) around for stuff you wont see on their front pages and also there is more of a music leaning for us too, so more gadgets, download stuff, hacks, P2P and MP3 and the like.
Bookmarking Web 2.0Still Changes Going On
Internet No Comments »OK, you may be wondering whats going on here (all 10 of my readers!), but anyway, still a transitional phase for Buzzsonic at the moment, hence bunches of Del.icio.us links at the moment (using a neat Word Press plug-in) instead of proper posts. Been busy preparing the Buzzsonic Records first release in the USA, the 99th Floor Elevators single, ‘I’ll be There’ on the side (hopefully on iTunes soon), and also, regarding the serious linkage of late, am hoping to have a Digg like script set up pretty soon so things look a bit more professional and you can actually contribute. Also working on remodelling the music industry search directory I try to maintain at Floorelevators.net. So, not enough time and all that but slowly coming together ! The plan is to integrate the directory (as Buzzsonic.dj), the links/news (as Buzzsonic.net) and the tech/music blog as Buzzsonic.com. And, I’m still trying to add content from the old site’s MySQL database, which amounts to another 200 articles or so but its a painstaking process doing it by hand. I’m sure there was an easier method but that option, due to database problems and a hosting move. has been missed.
Anyway…
