The Vinyl Factory is the only major pressing plant in the United Kingdom and once was home to both EMI and HMV manufacturing. The Hayes factory is still powered by the utterly unique EMI 1400 Press, pressing standard 12”, 10”, 7” formats to coloured vinyl, etched or die-cut records and bespoke editions.
Sheffield based electroforming for the vinyl record industry, making 12″ and 7″ stampers for Viryl, Toolex and Newbilt moulds, as well as for many legacy presses. We work closely with several of Europe’s leading mastering and cutting houses, and can manage lacquer cutting on your behalf.
