Green Vinyl Records

A group of eight Dutch companies have developed an environmentally friendly alternative production process for vinyl records. This process is based on the injection moulding principle instead of pressing. They also replace the plastics of which current vinyl is made with environmentally friendly materials. This achieves energy savings of up to 90%, creates a faster manufacturing process and causes less impact on the environment.
