The Vinyl Factory

The Vinyl Factory is the only major pressing plant in the United Kingdom and once was home to both EMI and HMV manufacturing. The Hayes factory is still powered by the utterly unique EMI 1400 Press, pressing standard 12-inch, 10 and 7-inch formats and coloured vinyl, etched or die-cut records and bespoke editions. They now offer a new vinyl line called Eco-Jazz which is recycled colour PVC made from the trimmings of pressed colour records.

Violet Vinyl

A new vinyl pressing plant opened in 2023 in Daytona Beach, Florida pressing 7/10 and 12-inch vinyl records in a huge range of custom vinyl effects, colours and 140g and 180g 12-inch weights. The minimum order quantity is 100 units and the estimated turnaround time is three months.
